  Push-pull methylenepyran compounds 3 containing ferrocenyl or aryl groups are synthesized from reaction of condensation between gamma-methyl-pyrylium salts 1 as precursors of gamma-methylenepyrans and alkynylcarbene complexes 2 as Michael-type acceptors.
