Two highly deuterium-labeled compounds, (R)-K-13675-d11 and (R)-K-13675-d7, were prepared for use as internalstandards for low-level quantification of plasma drugs by LC/MS/MS. We successfully demonstrated their utility in pharmacokinetic studies for sensitive and precise drug quantification.

An effective and applicable Pt/C-catalyzed deuteration method of aromatic rings using D2O as a deuterium source under hydrogen atmosphere was developed.
