  四唑衍生物如厄贝沙坦及其类似物的新型和有效的一锅合成已经从初级酰胺衍生物中得到描述。因此2-烷基-3-[P-(O-酰氨基苯基)苄基]-1,3-二氮杂螺[4.4]非-1-烯-4-one衍生物或4-[α-(酰氨基)环戊酰胺甲基]-2'在DMF存在下，在邻二甲苯中用氯化三丁基锡和叠氮化钠处理-甲酰胺基联苯衍生物，得到厄贝沙坦及其类似物，不产生腈。还描述了这些新原料的合成，其中两种衍生物已用作制备-厄贝沙坦的新中间体。
