chloroacetaldehyde and chloroacetyl chloride are discussed in this paper. Amongst others compounds, we have obtained, in low yield, the novel ring system oxazolo[3,2-c]pyrrolo[3,2-e]pyrimidine. The anticancer and antimicrobial activities of some of the obtained products are described.
