    New indolyl-1,3,4-oxadiazole and oxadiazine derivatives were prepared as reversible monoamine oxidase inhibitors. The compound 5-(3-methylindolyl)-1,3,4-oxadiazol-2(3H)one was shown to be a good monoamine oxidase B inhibitor.
