A process for producing 2-vinylcyclododecanone, the process comprising isomerizing 2-ethylidenecyclododecanone represented by the following formula (1):

2-Vinylcyclododecanone can be produced using 2-ethylidenecyclododecanone, which can be manufactured simply from cyclododecanone in a high yield through no chlorination, without using any solvent having safety problems in a high yield by using a simple process involving neither washing nor solvent recovery.
