We successfully developed the first enantioselective trifluoromethylthiolation of 4-substituted pyrazolones catalyzed by amide-based Cinchona alkaloids with N-trifluoromethylthiosaccharin. A broad variety of chiral CF3S-pyrazolones were obtained in excellent yields with high enantioselectivities.
