  [FR] La présente invention concerne des 1,5-diaryl-2-alkyl-pyrroles 3-substitués de Formule (I), les compositions pharmaceutiques les incluant et leur application au traitement pharmacologique de la douleur et des troubles associés à une suractivation de COX-2. Les composés selon l'invention sont de nouveaux dérivés de pyrrole qui portent en position 3 du cycle pyrrole plusieurs chaînes latérales diversement fonctionnalisées et non aliphatiques, ce qui confère aux composés une activité et une sélectivité substantielles vis-à-vis de COX-2, ainsi qu'une remarquable efficacité par voie orale. Les cycles phényliques en positions 1 et 5 sont diversement substitués, mais les composés présentant un intérêt particulier sont ceux qui sont substitués en position 5 par des groupements 4-méthylsulfonyl-phényle ou 4-aminosulfonyl-phényle.
