  [EN] The present invention relates (a) to new synthetic pentapeptide analogues of methionine-enkephalin and its structurally related dipeptide, tripeptide, tetrapeptide, and hexapeptide derivatives comprising unnatural amino acids represented by Formula W-X, wherein W and X have various meanings defined herein; (b) to their pharmacologically acceptable salts and solvates; (c) to processes and intermediates for their preparation; (d) to the use of both naturally occuring amino acids and unnatural amino acids in the preparation of new peptides; the unnatural amino acids refering to the compounds containing adamantane moiety; (e) to their use as antitumour agents in the treatment of various malignant diseases and conditions in human and animals.
