The current invention discloses targeted drug delivery conjugates comprising a targeting moiety linked to a drug via a molecule having an affinity for the targeting moiety. Typically, the conjugate comprises a targeting ligand and a molecule of interest, e.g., a therapeutic agent. The targeting ligand and the molecule of interest are linked to each other via an affinity ligand. The affinity ligand is further covalently or non-covalently linked to a drug or therapeutic agent. The drug can be modified to make it more soluble and so that it cleaves from the linking molecule at the target site.

The present invention relates to a novel heteroaryl compound, an enantiomer, a diastereomer or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, and an antiviral composition comprising the same as an active ingredient. The novel compounds represented by formula (I) or formula (II) according to the present invention are remarkably superior in antiviral activity against an influenza virus, and furthermore, have low cytotoxicity and thus low adverse effects on a human body. Therefore, a pharmaceutical composition containing the same as an active ingredient can be effectively used for the prevention or treatment of diseases caused by an influenza virus infection.

Provided are a catalyst of high activity and good heavy substance resistance and alcohol resistance for production of bisphenols, and a method for producing bisphenols with the catalyst. The catalyst is a sulfonic acid-type cation-exchange resin modified with (a) a pyridinealkanethiol and (b) an aminoalkanethiol and/or a thiazolidine; and the method comprises reacting a phenol and a ketone in the presence of the catalyst for producing bisphenols.
Provided is a process for producing a bisphenol A by continuously feeding phenol and acetone into a reactor unit having at least two reaction zones connected in series. In the process, an acidic cation-exchange resin partially neutralized with a sulfur-containing nitrogen compound in from 15 to 50% of the acid site thereof is used as the catalyst, and acetone having a methanol concentration of at most 3,000 ppm is separately fed into at least two reaction zones in the reactor unit. The life of the acidic cation-exchange resin catalyst used in the process is prolonged.
A process for the production of a bisphenol comprises reacting a feed comprising a phenol, a ketone and water in the presence of an ion exchange resin catalyst to produce an effluent; determining the para-para bisphenol selectivity of the reaction; and adjusting the concentration of the water in the feed based upon the para-para bisphenol selectivity in the effluent.
