  This study investigates the efficiency of alkylation of the Dellaria oxazinone glycinate template with sensitive bifunctional electrophiles. In addition to improved access to the template, trifiate/halide bifunctional combinations provided good yields (85-93%) of highly diastereoselective alkylation products.
