through CNbondcleavage. In the presence of 5 mol% palladium diacetate, 10 mol% 1,4‐bis(diphenylphosphino)butane (dppb), and 5 mol% p‐toluenesulfonic acid (TsOH), a range of α‐unbranched primary allylic amines smoothly underwent deammoniative condensation with nonallylic amines in an α‐selective fashion to give structurally diverse secondary and tertiary amines in good to excellent yields and E selectivity
Novel palladium-catalyzed reactions of arenediazonium tetrafluoroborates with N,N-diprotected allylamines are presented. The reaction of arenediazonium tetrafluoroborates with N,N-(Boc)2 allylamine allows for an easy approach to cinnamylamines whereas using 2-alkynyl-N-(allyl)trifluoroacetanilides and 2-iodo-N-(allyl)trifluoroacetanilide the reaction provides a useful tool for appending indole rings

The synthesis of quinazolinone derivatives was achieved from 2-iodobenzamide derivatives and various benzylamines, allylamine, and cinnamylamine derivatives through a one-pot copper-catalyzed reaction. In this reaction, the amine component (benzylamine/allylamine/cinnamylamine) is N-arylated with 2-iodobenzamide derivatives through Ullman coupling, followed by an intramolecular C–H amidation in the
