The charge-transfer complex formation has been examined in CH2Cl2 solution with 9,10-(o-benzeno)anthracene-1,4,5,8-tetraone and 5,18: 7,16:9,14-tri-(o-benzeno)heptacene-1,4,6,8,10,13,15,17-octaone derivatives as electron acceptors. The high formation constants and the relevant thermodynamic parameters were obtained for the 1:2 quinone-TTF complexes.
