and highly efficient method for the rearrangement of bromohydrins mediated by Et2Zn to synthesize carbonylcompounds was described. Various β-bromo alcohols were treated with 0.6 equiv of Et2Zn to form a zinc complex in CH2Cl2 at room temperature for 2 h, followed by 1,2-migration to give the corresponding carbonylcompounds. This remarkable and clean rearrangement is general for acyclic and cyclic bromohydrins

2-Substituted cycloheptanone enolates add to cyclopropanone to give adducts that undergo base-promoted rearrangement followed, in most cases, by a retroaldol/re-aldol sequence to give conjugated hydrazulenones that are substituted at a position γ to the carbonyl group.

An organic luminescent material-containing solution contains an organic electroluminescent material and a solvent. The organic electroluminescent material at least contains a host and a dopant. The host is an anthracene derivative and is dissolved in the solvent with a content of 0.5 weight percent or more. The solvent is preferably a cyclic ketone. The solvent preferably contains a cyclohexanone derivative as the cyclic ketone.

To provide an ETFE copolymer and a wire coating resin material capable of forming a coating layer which is excellent in stress cracking resistance under a high temperature and which has a high heat resistance temperature, and an electric wire having a coating layer which is excellent in stress cracking resistance under a high temperature and which has a high heat resistance temperature. A copolymer comprising structural units derived from ethylene, structural units derived from tetrafluoroethylene, and structural units derived from a third monomer, wherein in an elution curve obtained by a temperature rising elution fractionation method with respect to the copolymer, a ratio (L/H) of a proportion (L: area%) of components with elution temperatures of from 190 to 200°C to a proportion (H: area%) of components with elution temperatures of at least 205°C, and a proportion (M: mol%) of structural units derived from the third monomer based on all structural units of the copolymer, satisfy a relation of log (L/H)/M≧0.90.
