    Synthesis and structure–analgesic activity relationships of a novel series of monospirocyclopiperazinium salts (MSPZ)
    摘要:
    A series of monospirocyclopiperazinium salts were designed and synthesized to search for a peripherally-acting analgesic drug with low side effects. Extensive SAR studies revealed that a suitable (NRR3)-R-2 was critical for the analgesic activity, which might be beneficial to expose the cationic nitrogen to bind to the receptor, and possibly interact with the receptor via pi-pi interaction. Introduction of substituting group on the N-4-phenyl ring could improve the activity, and the best position was the 4-position. Compound 14n showed more potent analgesic activity (63%, 20 mu M/kg, sc) and holds promise for development as a mechanically new analgesic drug. (C) 2010 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.

    An object of the present invention is to provide a novel electro-optic polymer. Another object of the present invention is to provide a novel electro-optic polymer with a low alicyclic methacrylate monomer content. The polymer according to the present invention is a polymer comprising (a) a base polymer having a reactive group (A), (b) an electro-optic molecule having a plurality of reactive groups (B), and a bond (C) formed by reaction of the reactive group (A) with the plurality of reactive groups (B), the bond (C) being at least one type of bond selected from the group consisting of a (thio) ester bond, a (thio) urethane bond, a (thio) urea bond and a (thio)amide bond.

    An object of the present invention is to provide a novel electro-optic polymer. Tandem dyes of embodiments of the invention include: a non-conjugated polymeric backbone; one or more violet excitable donor fluorophores linked to the non-conjugated polymeric backbone; and one or more acceptor fluorophores linked to the non-conjugated polymeric backbone; where the donor and acceptor fluorophores are in energy transfer relationship. Also provided are methods of making and using the tandem dyes, as well as kits that include the dyes and find use in embodiments of the methods.
