Abstract Threephytoalexins were isolated fromdaffodilbulb scales inoculated with Botrytis cinerea and identified as 7-hydroxyflavan, 7,4′-dihydroxyflavan and 7,4′-dihydroxy-8-methylflavan. The structures of the phytoalexins were confirmed by total synthesis.
