A dehydrative cross-etherification reaction of two different alcohols is achieved in the presence of hydrothermally synthesized tungsten-titanium mixed metaloxide (W-Ti-O) catalyst. The reaction is environmentally benign: organic solvent is not necessary and the catalyst is readily recovered and reusable.
The O-benzenedisulfonimide is used as Bronsted acid in catalytic amounts in various acid-catalyzed organic reactions, such as etherification, esterification, and acetalization; the conditions required are mild and in the considered examples the results are always good. A useful aspect of the use of this catalyst is its easy recovery in high yield from the reaction mixture and its reuse in -other reactions

greener protocol for the allylic alkylation, allylic amination, O-allylation of (E)-1,3-diphenylallyl acetate is described. The developed methodology is applicable for a wide range of nucleophiles furnishing excellent yields of corresponding products up to 87% under mild reaction conditions. A distinct effect of water and base is explored for allylicnucleophilicsubstitution reactions of (E)-1,3-diphenylallyl
