Die Kondensation der N‐Alkyl‐4‐alkylimino‐2‐penten‐2‐amine 1 mit (1‐Chloralkyliden)propandinitrilen 2 liefert die in Lösung als E/Z‐Gemische vorliegenden 2‐Imino‐1,2‐dihydropyridin‐3‐carbonitrile 4. 4a läβt sich mit Perchlorsäure in das Diperchlorat 6 überführen. Die Monomethylierung von 4a mit nachfolgender Deprotonierung ergibt 7, die Bismethylierung und Deprotonierung 9. Mit Chlorethentricarbonitril
