Herein, we report a method that combines hydrogen atom transfer and photoredox catalysis to achieve the dehydrogenative difluoroallylation of amides, ethers, and alkyl aldehydes. Tetramethyl orthosilicate (TMOS) is shown to be an effective reagent for direct amidation of aliphatic and aromatic carboxylic acids with amines and anilines.
