Nuclear magnetic resonance and mass spectrometric investigations elucidate the structure of the alkaloid as (Z)-N-(2-(1H-imidazol-4-yl)ethyl)-3-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)-2-methoxyacrylamide (1).
