Use of polymers of 30-65% by weight of N-vinylcaprolactam, 35-65% by weight of a monomer mixture of N-vinylimidazole and vinylpyrrolidone, where the weight ratio of N-vinylimidazole to vinylpyrrolidone is between 0.085 and 0.30, 0-15% by weight of a nitrogen-containing quaternizable monomer (A), which is different from N-vinylimidazole, where the sum of monomer (A) and N-vinylimidazole is less than 18% by weight, in cosmetic preparations.

The terminal‐selective, remoteC(sp3)−H alkylation of alkenes was achieved by a relay process combining NiH‐catalyzed hydrometalation, chain walking, and alkylation. This method enables the construction of unfunctionalized C(sp3)−C(sp3) bonds under mild conditions from two simple feedstock chemicals, namely olefins and alkyl halides. The practical value of this transformation is further demonstrated

Herein, we describe the synthesis of tunable aryl imidazolium ionicliquid catalysts and tested for esterification of fatty acids to biodiesel. In this work, six tunable aryl imidazolium ionicliquids (TAIILs) 1a-1f were prepared. These ionicliquids were used as the economical and reusable catalysts for the synthesis of biodiesel fuels. The reaction has been preceded in a monophase at 80 °C for 4 h
