Synthesis and Docking Studies of Novel Carbazole-Thiazolidinedione Hybrid Derivatives as Antibacterial Agents

series of novel carbazol-thiazolidinedione hybrid derivatives were designed, synthesised and screened for antimicrobial activity against gram-positive and gram-negative bacterial species. All the novel compounds were characterized by 1H, 13C NMR, IR, and Mass spectral analysis data. The results of antibacterial study indicated that compounds (Vc) and (Vh) showed appreciable antibacterial activity.
