  An N-acyl-3-[4-(benzoylalkyl)piperazin-1-yl]-sydnonimine compound represented by the following formula ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1 to 8 carbon atoms, R.sup.2 represents a lower alkyl group, a lower alkoxy group or a phenyl group, and n represents zero or an integer of 1 to 10, and its acid addition salt.
