    An addition product obtained by reacting (a) a polyfunctional epoxy compound and (b) a compound having at least one functional group of OH group, SH group, COOH group and CONHNH2 group together with a tertiary amino group in the molecule, and an addition product obtained (a), (b) and (c) an organic compound having two or more active hydrogen atoms in the molecule (excluding a compound having an epoxy group or tertiary amino group) are good curing agents for epoxy resin. The curing agents are useful in formulating novel storable one-package, heat-curable epoxy resin-based compositions.

    The polyester resin of the present invention is produced by polymerizing a monomer mixture comprising a glycol component containing 5 to 60 mol% of a spiroglycol represented by Formula I: and 30 to 95 mol% of ethylene glycol, and a dicarboxylic acid component containing 80 to 100 mol% of terephthalic acid and/or an ester thereof. The polyester resin has (1) an intrinsic viscosity of 0.4 to 1.5 dL/g, (2) a melt viscosity of 700 to 5,000 Pa·s, (3) a molecular weight distribution of 2.5 to 12.0; and (4) a glass transition temperature of 90°C or higher and a cooling crystallization exotherm peak of 5 J/g or lower. The polyester resin of the present invention is excellent in heat resistance, transparency, mechanical properties, moldability and fabrication qualities and useful for producing shaped articles such as films, sheets, hollow containers and foamed products.

The present invention also relates to a polyester resin for optical use which contains a phosphorus compound, and an alicyclic component and a fluorene derivative component as constituents, and satisfies the following equations (6) and (7): 100⁢°C≤glass transition temperature≤150⁢°C and 1.0≤Ma/2+Mb+Mc/P≤5.0 wherein Ma is the number of moles of an alkali metal element contained in 1 ton of the polyester resin, Mb is the number of moles of an alkaline earth metal element contained in 1 ton of the polyester resin, Mc is the sum of the number of moles of a zinc element (Zn), a cobalt element (Co) and a manganese element (Mn) contained in 1 ton of the polyester resin, and P is the number of moles of a phosphorus element contained in 1 ton of the polyester resin.

    Disclosed is an inner liner for a pneumatic tire, the inner liner including no less than 8 resin-layers, the resin-layer having a layer A constituted with a resin composition containing a gas barrier resin, and a layer B constituted with a resin composition containing an elastomer, at least one of the resin compositions included in the layer A and the layer B that are adjacent with each other containing a metal salt, the content of the metal salt being no less than 1 ppm and no greater than 10,000 ppm in terms of metal element equivalent, and an interlayer adhesive force between the layer A and the layer B being no less than 500 g/15 mm. The layer A and the layer B are preferably alternately laminated. The average thickness of single layer of the layer A and the layer B is preferably no less than 0.01 µm and no greater than 10 µm. The multilayered structure has a thickness of preferably no less than 0.1 µm and no greater than 1,000 µm. As the metal salt, at least one selected from the group consisting of alkali metal salts, alkaline earth metal salts and d-block metal salts in group 4 are preferably used.
