Palladium-catalyzed decarboxylative sp-sp2 cross-couplingreactions of aryl and vinyl halides and triflates with α,β-ynoic acids using silver oxide have been developed. A variety of α,β-ynoic acids were readily decarboxylated in the presence of silver oxide and then, generated in situ, silver acetylides were coupled with electrophiles in the presence of a palladium(0) catalyst under neutral conditions

A highly efficient and mild palladium-catalyzed decarboxylative cross-coupling of aryl boronic acids and alkynyl carboxylic acids for the synthesis of unsymmetrical substituted alkynes is described for the first time.
首次描述了一种高效,温和的钯催化的芳基硼酸和炔基羧酸的脱羧交叉偶联反应,用于合成不对称取代的炔烃。

Direct: With [Pd2(dba)3] as a catalyst, the direct alkynylation of thiophenes bearing a variety of substituents has been accomplished by using terminal alkynes as alkynylating reagents. This protocol is also applicable to other electron‐rich aromatic heterocycles. dba=dibenzylidenacetone.
Mild Pd/Cu-Catalyzed Sila-Sonogashira Coupling of (Hetero)aryl Bromides with (Hetero)arylethynylsilanes under PTC Conditions

The palladium/copper cocatalyzed sila-Sonogashira reaction of (hetero)arylethynysilanes with (hetero)aryl bromides in toluene and water at 40 ˚C under PTC conditions gave the required di(hetero)arylethynes in moderate to high yields. Activated, deactivated and ortho-substituted (hetero)aryl bromides are well tolerated. This protocol also allowed the preparation of symmetrical diarylethynes by double
Sulfur-containing heteroaryl dioxo-butyric acid derivatives are described as inhibitors of HIV integrase and inhibitors of HIV replication. These compounds are useful in the prevention or treatment of infection by HIV and the treatment of AIDS, either as compounds, pharmaceutically acceptable salts, pharmaceutical composition ingredients, whether or not in combination with other antivirals, immunomodulators, antibiotics or vaccines. Methods of treating AIDS and methods of preventing or treating infection by HIV are also described.
