    摘要:
    Positron-emission tomography (PET) is a noninvasive realtime functional imaging system and is expected to be useful for the development of new drug candidates in clinical trials. For its application with preformulated liposomes, we devised an optimized [F-18]-compound and developed a direct liposome modification method that we termed the "solid-phase transition method". We were successful in using 1-[F-18]fluoro-3,6-dioxatetracosane ([F-18]7a) for in vivo trafficking of liposomes. This method might be a useful tool in preclinical and clinical studies of lipidic particle-related drugs.

    The present invention relates to a low dusting crystalline 2,2′-methylenebis[4-(1,1,3,3-tetramethylbutyl)-6-benzotriazolylphenol] type I crystal transformation which exhibits diffraction peaks at diffraction angles (2&thgr;±0.1°) of 7.1°, 8.6°, 14.3°, 16.1°, 18.1° and 23.0° in powder X-ray diffraction analysis with Cu-K&agr; radiation; a low dusting 2,2′-methylenebis[4-(1,1,3,3-tetramethylbutyl)-6-benzotriazolylphenol] type II crystal transformation which does not exhibit a distinct diffraction peak but an amorphous halo in powder X-ray diffraction analysis with Cu-K&agr; radiation; a mixture thereof; a method for preparing them; and a UV light absorber, an emulsion composition and a polymer material using them.

    Disclosed are 2-(amino or substituted amino)-5-(substituted oxymethyl)-phenol compounds according to the Formula (I), as defined herein. Also, compositions for the oxidative dyeing of keratin fibers, comprising a medium suitable for dyeing and a compound of the Formula (II), as defined herein. The substituents of both formulae may themselves be substituted or unsubstituted. Further, methods for oxidative dyeing of keratin fibers, comprising applying such compositions in the presence of an oxidizing agent, for a period which is sufficient to develop the desired coloration.

    The present invention is directed to a transdermal delivery system (10) for an active substance. The active substance is estrogen or its derivatives and preferably is 17-beta-estradiol. The system (10) comprises an impermeable backing layer (12) and a matrix (14) affixed thereto. The matrix (14) comprises, on a weight percentage basis, from about 60 to about 95% of an adhesive polymer, from about 5 to about 20% of a solvent, from about 0.2 to about 4% of a skin penetration enhancer, and from about 0.5 to about 5% of the active substance. The system is free of any discrete permeable, polymeric, diffusion-controlling membrane.
