Lesdits dérivés sont de ce fait, efficaces dans le traitement d'états pathologiques, tels que les maladies neuro-dégénératives, les convulsions ou la schizophrénie, nécessitant l'administration d'un antagoniste de récepteur de NMDA et/ou de AMPA.
