13C, 17O and 73Ge NMRspectra of seven tetraalkoxygermanes have been investigated. 73Ge resonance signals in these compounds are more sensitive to structure variations than those of 29Si in isostructural alkoxysilanes. 17O and 13C NMRspectra of alkoxygermanes Me4-n Ge(OR)n (R = Et, Pr, Bu, i-Bu, s-Bu, CH2CHCH2, CH2CH2OMe, CH2CF3; n = 1–3) have been studied.
