Saccharomyces cerevisiae N-myristoyltransferase (NMT) inhibitor bearing a tetrahydrocarbazole scaffold was found to possess broad-spectrum antifungal activity. A series of C6- and N9-modified tetrahydrocarbazole derivatives were designed and synthesized.
