Petasis-borono-Mannich multicomponent reaction. Salicylaldehyde, glyoxalic acid, glycoaldehyde and glyoxal were reacted with several boronic acids and different amines affording alkylaminophenols, 2H-chromenes, α-amino acids, α-amino alcohols and 2-hydroxylmorpholines in good to high yields.
