  New substituted urea compounds of formula I, or a pharma­ceutically acceptable salt thereof: wherein R¹ is a group of formula II, III or IV where n is 2 or 3, p is 1 or 2, q is 1 to 3, r is 1-3 and R⁴ and R⁵ are H,C₁₋₇ alkyl or C₃₋₆ cycloalkyl; and where­in R² is an oxadiazole, substituted with C₁₋₈ alkyl, C₂₋₈ alkenyl, C₂₋₈ alkynyl, C₃₋₇ cycloalkyl, benzyl, phenyl, C₁₋₆ alkoxy, C₁₋₆ alkylthio, amino or alkylamino; or wherein R² is -C-R⁶=N-O-R⁷ wherein R⁶ is hydrogen or me­thyl and R⁷ is C₁₋₆ alkyl which may be substituted with C₃₋₇ cycloalkyl; and wherein R³ is hydrogen, halogen, nitro, substituted amine, trifluoromethyl, C₁₋₆ alkyl or C₁₋₆ alkoxy. The compounds are useful in pharmaceutical preparations for treating psychotic disorders, nausea and vomiting.
