    A water-in-silicone oil transparent emulsion is made from a volatile polydimethylsiloxane (1 to 50% by weight), a silicone surfactant (0.1 to 20% by weight), at least one polyhydric alcohol (1 to 50% by weight) and water. The silicone surfactant comprises a polymer of dimethyl polysiloxane with polyoxyethylene and/or polyoxypropylene side chains having a molecular weight of from 10,000 to 50,000 and having the structure: a having a value of from 9 to 115, b having a value of from 0 to 50, x having a value of from 133 to 673, y having a value of from 25 to 0.25.

    The present invention has as its object developing a method that does not involve genomic modification and which yet is capable of inducing cell death in pluripotent stem cells such as embryonic stem cells and induced pluripotent stem cells, as well as in differentiated cells other than cardiomyocytes derived from pluripotent stem cells, but not in cardiomyocytes. It has been revealed that by establishing a method capable of inducing cell death in cells other than cardiomyocytes in a very efficient manner by adding a substance having no recognized inherent toxicity or cell death inducing action to the culture conditions for pluripotent stem cells and non-cardiomyocytes, the stated problem can be solved without relying upon genomic modification.

    Provided is a composition for forming a conductive film, said composition containing: copper oxide particles (A) having an average particle size of 10-500 nm; copper particles (B) having an average particle size of 100-1000 nm; a polyol compound (C) which has two or more hydroxyl groups in the molecule; and at least one solvent (D) selected from the group consisting of water, and a water-soluble solvent. The ratio of the total mass (WA) of the copper oxide particles (A) to the total mass (WB) of the copper particles (B) is WA:WB=1:3-3:1, and the ratio of the sum total mass (WAB) of the copper oxide particles (A) and the copper particles (B) to the total mass (WC) of the polyol compound (C) is WAB:WC=20:1-2:1. The composition is capable of forming a conductive film which has high conductivity, and exhibits excellent adhesion to a substrate. Also provided is a conductive film manufacturing method using the composition.
