  Compounds of the formula wherein R1 is CH3NH, CH3O, or CH3; R2 CH3 or R3 is H or CH3NH C-provided that when R2 is HC≡C, R1 is CH3NH and R3 is H; and provided that when R3 is R1 is CH3NH and R2 is CH3; can be used to control fungus diseases of living plants, for which purpose they can be formulated into fungicidal compositions in conventional manner. The compounds can be made by reacting e.g. 3-(1,1-dimethylethylamino) or 3-(1,1-dimethylallylamino) -1,1,1-trichloro-2-propanol with methylisocyanate, methyl chloroformate or acetic anhydride.
