Abstract A series of dendritic phenol ether derivatives with a naphthalene core were synthesized by the Williamson reaction as a coupling reaction between 1‐hydroxymethylnaphthalene and polyether‐based dendritic fragments in the presence of phase‐transfer catalyst and alkali.
