Two cobalt complexes, [Co3(L)2(CH3OH)2(μ3-OH)2] (1) and [Co(L)(bpe)0.5]·H2O (2) [H2L = 5-(4-carboxyphenoxy)-pyridine-2-carboxylic acid; bpe = 1, 2-bis(4-pyridyl)ethylene] were synthesized and fully characterized by elemental analyses, IR spectroscopy, single-crystal X-ray diffraction, thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), and magnetic analysis.
