Synthesis and Preliminary Evaluation of 1-[<sup>18</sup>F]Fluoro-1-deoxy-2,5-anhydro-<i>D</i>-mannitol as a PET Radiotracer for Breast Cancer Imaging

1‐[18F]Fluoro‐1‐deoxy‐2,5‐anhydro‐D‐mannitol (3, 18F‐FDAM) has been synthesized in 6 steps starting from 2,5‐anhydro‐D‐mannitol (2,5‐AM) and evaluated as a new radiotracer for PETimaging of MCF‐7 breast tumor. The result of PETimaging study showed that 3 displayed a slightly higher uptake by breast tumor in comparison with the normal breast tissue, implying the possibility of development of PET radiotracers
1- [ 18 F]氟-1-脱氧-2,5-脱水- d -mannitol(3,18 F-FDAM)已经由6-步骤合成2,5-脱水- d -mannitol(2,5- ‐AM),并被评估为MCF-7乳腺PET成像的新型放射性示踪剂。PET成像研究的结果表明,与正常的乳腺组织相比,3乳腺肿瘤的摄取略高,这意味着基于果糖转运蛋白开发PET放射性示踪剂的可能性。
