  (EN) A process is disclosed for producing saturated halohydrocarbons containing fluorine which comprises the step of reacting certain saturated or olefinic compounds at an elevated temperature with hydrogen in the presence of at least one material selected from the group consisting of iodine and hydrogen iodide, or with hydrogen iodide. Also disclosed is a process for producing certain chloromethanes which comprises the step of reacting CCl4 at an elevated temperature with hydrogen in the presence of iodine and/or HI, or with hydrogen iodide; and a process for producing CF3CCl=CHCF3 which comprises the step of reacting CF3CCl=CClCF3 at an elevated temperature with hydrogen in the presence of iodine and/or HI, or with hydrogen iodide.(FR) On décrit un procédé destiné à produire des halohydrocarbures saturés contenant du fluor, qui consiste à faire réagir certains composés saturés ou oléfiniques avec de l'hydrogène à une température élevée, en présence d'au moins un produit choisi à partir du groupe composé d'iode et d'iodure d'hydrogène, ou avec de l'iodure d'hydrogène. On décrit aussi un procédé destiné à produire certains chlorométhanes, qui consiste à faire réagir du CCl4 avec de l'hydrogène à une température élevée, en présence d'iode et/ou d'HI, ou avec de l'iodure d'hydrogène; et un procédé destiné à produire du CF3CCl=CHCF3 qui consiste à faire réagir du CF3CCl=CClCF3 avec de l'hydrogène à une température élevée en présence d'iode et/ou d'HI, ou avec de l'iodure d'hydrogène.
