AbstractA novel one-pot three-component reaction has been developed for construction of thiazole derivatives under solvent-free conditions. Hence, tertiary thioamides, α-haloketones, and NH4OAc were grinded together and allowed to react thermally at 110 °C and/or under microwave irradiation to produce the corresponding thiazole derivatives in very good yields.
