  The new branched polyfluoroaliphatic functional derivatives R(F)CH2CH(OH)CH2X [X = CN, N3, NH(C = NH)NH2], thiirane R(F)CH2 Activated CHCH2S sulphide [R(F)CH2CH(OH)CH2]2S, and allyl ether R(F)CH = CHCH2-O-CH2CH(OH)CH2R(F), where R(F) = CF3CF2CF2(CF3)2C-, were obtained in high yields by reacting epoxide R(F)CH2 Activated CHCH2O or its precursor R(F)CH2CHBrCH2OCOCH3 with KCN, NaN3, guanidine, KSCN or thiourea, Na2S, and KOH, respectively.
