  N-1-(3-Methoxypropyl)-N-3-methylimidazolium salts (1c-1f) were synthesized and characterized. The N(SO2CF3)(2)(-) salt (1c) exhibited the lowest viscosity (51 cP) among the salts (1c-1f). The 1(-) salt (1d) was tested as an electrolyte solution to the dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs), and the devices worked as the DSSCs.
