Synthesis of new (R)-secondary carbinols with different structures via enzymatic resolution

The present study deals with the biocatalytic enantioselective synthesis of 19 new chiral alcohols with alkyl (C-11-C-19) and phenyl, substituted phenyl, heteroaromatic, and naphthyl groups 4a-4z with an (R)-configuration and high enantiomeric excess (similar to 100%). The corresponding ketones 1a-1z were synthesized and then reduced with NaBH4 to their racemic alcohols 2a-2z, which were converted into their racemic acetyl derivatives 3a-3z. Enzymes of four different types were used for the enantioselective hydrolysis of these acetyl compounds 3a-3z. The optimal reaction conditions for these four enzymes were established by investigating the enantiomeric excesses by chiral HPLC. Amano lipase from Burkholderica cepacia (Pseudomonas cepacia) AL-PS was determined as the best enzyme in this work This study presents an environmentally friendly and green chemistry method for the synthesis of these new (R)-chiral carbinols 4a-4z. hydroacylation protocol applies to a wide array of substrates bearing numerous functional groups and many complex structural units. The reaction proves to be scalable (up to 5 g). Different functionalized fattyacids, petrochemicals and naturally occurring alkanes can be synthesized with this protocol. A radical chain mechanism is implicated in the process.

A method and composition for identifying chemically tagged petroleum products can be achieved by adding one or more chemicals to a selected petroleum product wherein the chemical is immune to extraction from the petroleum product by conventional inexpensive absorbents, cannot be removed by extraction with acids, bases, or immiscible solvents, cannot be easily oxidized, reduced or reacted with common agents, is difficult to disguise by masking with other agents, has a low polarity, and has a boiling pint in the range of the petroleum product the chemical is being added to. The presence of the chemical is determined by using ion mobility to spectroscopy.

Die vorliegende Erfindung bezieht sich auf das Gebiet der Polymerchemie und betrifft Kautschuk- oder Elastomerzusammensetzungen, wie sie für Fahrzeugreifen eingesetzt werden können und ein Verfahren zur Herstellung dieser.
Die Aufgabe der Erfindung besteht darin, dass insbesondere der E-Modul der Zusammensetzungen in Abhängigkeit von der Temperatur und/oder den Einsatzbedingungen anpassbar ist und ein kostengünstiges und einfach realisierbares Verfahren zu deren Herstellung.
Die Aufgabe wird gelöst durch Kautschuk- oder Elastomerzusammensetzungen, die mindestens eine Kautschuk- oder Elastomermatrix und mindestens 20 bis 150 phr eines phasenwechselnden Materials in fester oder flüssiger Form enthalten.
Bei den erfindungsgemäßen Verfahren werden mindestens ein Kautschuk und mindestens 20 bis 150 phr eines phasenwechselnden Materials in fester oder flüssiger Form eingesetzt, die Zusammensetzung gemischt oder der mindestens eine Kautschuk mit dem phasenwechselnden Material mindestens in Kontakt gebracht wird, und weitere Verarbeitungsschritte durchgeführt werden können und eine Vulkanisation durchgeführt werden kann.

The present disclosure provides an exterior building material including multi-thermochromic beads (B) and a method of manufacturing the same, each of the multi-thermochromic beads including a polymer support (100) and a plurality of thermochromic particles (P) supported in the polymer support (100) and the colors of which thermally change into different colors according to temperature. The thermochromic particle (P) includes a core (10) including a thermochromic material and a phase-change material and a polymer shell (20) formed on the surface of the core (10). In the present disclosure, color changes into various colors according to temperature occur. Therefore, it is possible to actively adjust the temperature of a building, thereby improving thermal insulation and heating properties and securing a beautiful appearance.
