Synthetic material was used to measure their optical activities and free energy of activation for racemization. The natural enantiomers of myricatomentogenin, jugcathanin, galeon, and pterocarine were determined to have the same pR absolute stereochemistry. Acerogenins L and C are achlral compounds.
