An efficient and highly regio- and stereoselctive Pd-catalyzed β-arylation method for the formation of β-aryl allylic alcohols, employing aryl iodides, 1-bromo-2-iodobenzenes, and 2-bromobezaldehydes as coupling partners, is presented.
