  The present invention relates to salts comprising novel aryl-alkyl-substituted imidazolium and triazolium cations and arbitrary anions. The invention further relates to methods for the chemical conversion and separation of substances, comprising the salts according to the invention as solvents, solvent additives, or extraction means, and to the use of the salts according to the invention, for example as solvents or solvent additives in chemical reactions, as extracting agents for the separation of substances, or for storing hydrogen.   Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft Salze aus neuen Aryl-Alkyl-substituierten Imidazolium- und Triazoliumkationen und beliebigen Anionen. Die Erfindung betrifft weiterhin Verfahren zur chemischen Umwandlung und Trennung von Stoffen umfassend die erfindungsgemäßen Salze als Lösungsmittel, Lösungsmittelzusätze oder Extraktionsmittel sowie die Verwendung der erfindungsgemäßen Salze, beispielweise als Lösungsmittel oder Lösungsmittelzusatz in chemischen Reaktionen, als Extraktionsmittel zur Trennung von Stoffen oder zur Speicherung von Wasserstoff. Erfindungsgemäß wird die Aufgabe gelöst durch Salze der allgemeinen Formel (I), wobei X- ein Anion ist, Y1 und Y2 CH sind oder Y1 CH und Y2 N ist oder Y1N und Y2 CH ist, n eine Zahl von 1 bis einschließlich 18 ist, Q ausgewählt ist aus -CH3, -OH, -ORx, -S03H, -S03Rx, -COOH, -COORx, -CORx, NH2, -NHRx, N(Rx)2, und -CH(Rx)2, Z H oder Rx ist, R1, R2, R3, R4 und R5 unabhängig voneinander -H, -Halogen, -N02, -NH2, -NHRx, - N(Rx)2, -Rx, -COORx oder -ORx sind, wobei Rx ein gegebenenfalls substituierter und/oder verzweigter C1 bis C18-Alkylrest ist, ausgenommen Verbindungen der allgemeinen Formel (I), bei denen Y1 und Y2 CH sind und Rl, R2, R3, R4 und R5 H sind, ausgenommen Verbindungen der allgemeinen Formel (I), bei denen Y1 und Y2 CH sind, R1=R3=R5=CH3 sind, n= 1, 2, 6 ist und Q=CH3 ist, ausgenommen Verbindungen der allgemeinen Formel (I), bei denen Y1 CH und Y2 N sind R1, R2, R3, R4 und R5 H sind, n=1 ist und Q=CH3 ist, und ausgenommen Verbindungen der allgemeinen Formel (I), bei denen Y1 und Y2 CH sind, R1, R2, R4, R5=H sind, R3= ORx ist und Rx ein Kohlenwasserstoff mit 3 oder 12 Kohlenstoffatomen ist.
