The flash-vacuum pyrolysis of selected dispirodicycloaliphatic 1,2,4-trithiolanes was studied by using matrix isolation techniques. The formation of thiosulfines and dithiiranes along with the corresponding thioketones was detected spectroscopically and confirmed by comparison with computed spectra.
