  The oxidative addition of PhSeX (X = Cl, Br, I) to Pt0 complexes of formula [Pt(N,N-chelate)(olefin)] is described. The reaction quantitatively affords the trigonal-bipyramidal products [PtX(SePh)(N,N-chelate)(olefin)] with the X and SePh fragments in the axial positions.
