  Enantio‐ and diastereoselective synthesis of trans‐2,3‐disubstituted indanones is achieved by intramolecular hydroacylation of 2‐alkenylbenzaldehydes bearing trisubstituted alkenyl groups under cobalt‐chiral diphosphine catalysis.
