The reactivities of tricarbonyl(2,4-cycloheptadiene-1,6-dione)iron toward several kinds of nucleophiles and electrophiles were investigated. As a result, it was found that tricarbonyl(2,4-cycloheptadiene-1,6-dione)iron has several reaction sites and undergoes several types of reactions.
