A novel divinyl ether compound having the formula (I) :

which is low in odor, low in volatility, and low in skin irritability, which have low toxicities, which are useful as a starting material for a polymer composition having excellent curability, adhesiveness and transmission in the ultraviolet light region, and further, having a special reactivity alone or with other compounds, and a process for producing the same.
