Reaction between 1,n-Diamines, Diketene, and Dibenzoylacetylene in the Presence of Triphenylphosphine: One-Pot, Pseudo-Five-Component Synthesis of Bisfuramides
Reaction between 1,n-Diamines, Diketene, and Dibenzoylacetylene in the Presence of Triphenylphosphine: One-Pot, Pseudo-Five-Component Synthesis of Bisfuramides
Using diketene as a basic reagent, a one-pot, pseudo-five-component reaction for the synthesis of highly substituted bisfuramides is described. In this method, ring opening of diketene occurs in mild condition and without a catalyst. Thus, the reaction between diketene, 1,n-diamine, and dibenzoylacetylene, in the presence of triphenylphosphine, produces bisfuramides.
